Before you write: things we can and cannot fix

We can fix bugs on this Site, correct our guides and add new QR types. There are a few common problems we genuinely cannot fix from our side, and it usually saves time to check them first:

  • A code was printed and the destination changed. Static QR codes cannot be edited. You will need to generate a new one.
  • The code scans but opens the wrong page. Check the URL that was encoded. If it is right, the redirect is happening on the destination site, not here.
  • A phone refuses to scan it. Nine times out of ten this is size, contrast or glare. See our troubleshooting guide.
  • A payment did not arrive. We only encode the payment data you provide. Transfers are handled entirely by your bank.

Is there a limit on how many QR codes I can make?

No. Generate as many as you like, for personal or commercial use, at no cost.

Do you keep a copy of what I generate?

No. There is no account system and no library of your codes. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Can I use the codes commercially?

Yes. Print them on menus, packaging, signage, invoices and business cards. The Terms of Service explain the licence.

Can you build a custom QR feature for my business?

Sometimes. Describe what you need in the form above and we will tell you honestly whether it is something we can take on.
